This website is dedicated to providing information about the Rum Jungle region of the Northern Territory of Australia.

In particular this site seeks to look into the activities of the Hunan Nonferrous Metals Corporation, a Chinese state owned corporation which has designs on becoming the first Chinese company to explore, mine and export Australian uranium.

This is a unique situation. It also looks into the roles of the Northern Territory & Australian governments in allowing (and indeed fostering) this unusual business arrangement.
